Hi J-Term Johnny! As a J-Termer is there a lot of recruiting that goes on and is it possible for a career switcher with minimal experience in a new field to get a job after the program? Do you have the option to get an internship? Do you get to share in the career services with the 2 year MBAers? Phew, that was a lot of questions. If you get a chance to answer them, I'd greatly appreciate it! =)

Patricia --

There have been alot of summer recruiting events, and I know from other past J-termers that career switching is possible.

However, you may have to work a harder than a Septemeber term person since you won't have a full-time internship in the industry you're seeking to enter. Some J-term folks are doing part-time internships in the areas they wish to enter.

We use the same career services office as the rest of the school and have the chance to interview for the exact same jobs. In fact, there are summer programs career services puts on for the J-termers, so you're not missing out on that, either.
