Just when you are ready to smack your head against the wall, you get a call. :) Recruiter just phoned me about an opportunity in Boston doing later stage/buyout stuff. Sounds interesting enough, will hopefully hear something next week...

If I am right, you are putting efforts in off-campus right. You dont seem to depend on school's career services division I guess. Thats so cool. Following heart will give peace, happiness and possibly money :-)
Yup - totally off-campus. I have not used career services in my search. Maybe that is a mistake but there have been very few opportunities posted for VC in their database, so I've been focused on networks of our alumni, former coworkers, etc.
Thanks for the encouragement and hopefully this hunt will lead me to all three of the things you mention! :)
